How to fix my new software of Office 2024 on my Mac .

I just purchased Office 2024 for my Mac and it uploaded successfully according to the message; however, when I try to use Word, it does not allow me to type in it. When I check, I see that it needs an update. I push update but nothing happens. The sign indicates I need an upgrade. I just bought this so why should I need to purchase an upgrade?

    Could you please confirm whether it is asking you to upgrade to Microsoft 365?

    If so, you can run the Office License Removal Tool to remove any previous Office licenses on your Mac, and then reactivate your new license. You can download and run this tool from the official Microsoft website.
