If Data Map and Unified Catalog are still visible in the classic portal but missing in the new Microsoft Purview portal, and multiple users see the same thing with no RBAC changes, then this is most likely a portal-side issue or rollout change, not a permission problem.
A few quick things to try:
- Sign out and sign in again
- Try another browser or InPrivate/Incognito mode
- Check if the issue happens for all users in your tenant
If the modules are still missing after this, it’s best to raise a Microsoft support ticket. They can confirm if this is a temporary portal issue or a recent change in the new Purview experience.
In the meantime, you can continue using the classic portal since the features are still available there.
