Open Device Manager, and make sure you've audio drivers installed and properly working.

You can visit your device manufacturer's website to download audio drivers for your system model.

Try updating audio drivers to latest version.

Or if you've already updated them, try to roll back previous version to see if that works.

Run Playing Audio troubleshooter from Settings app > Update & security > Troubleshoot > Additional troubleshooters. Let us know what it reports back.

Hello there! I'm glad to help you today!

May I ask what is the make and model of your computer? If you don't know the make and model or it's a custom, may I ask if you know the make and model of the motherboard?

Press Windows + R, type msinfo32, and hit Enter.

In the System Summary section, please provide me the three things below.

    BaseBoard Manufacturer

    BaseBoard Product

    BaseBoard Version

To resolve the issue of "no audio device installed," you can follow these steps to install the audio driver:

    1. Open Device Manager: Right-click on the Start button and select Device Manager.
    2. Check for Audio Drivers: Expand the "Sound, video and game controllers" section to see if any audio devices are listed. If there are yellow exclamation marks, it indicates a problem with the drivers.
    3. Update Drivers: Right-click on the audio device and select "Update driver." You can choose to search automatically for updated driver software.
    4. Install Device-Specific Driver: If the device-specific driver is available, you can install it manually. Make sure to download the correct driver from your device manufacturer's website.
    5. Troubleshoot: If the issue persists, you can run the Playing Audio troubleshooter from Settings > System > Troubleshoot > Other troubleshooters.
    6. Reboot: After installing the drivers, restart your computer to ensure the changes take effect.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, consider reinstalling the audio driver or checking for Windows updates that might include driver updates.
