Thank you for posting your question on the Microsoft Q&A forum.
From my understanding, you would like to combine inactive school accounts with your personal Microsoft account so that you can continue accessing the data. Unfortunately, Microsoft does not support merging or converting a school/work account into a personal Microsoft account.
However, if you still have access to the school account, you can manually move the data as follows:
1/ Manually move OneDrive files
- Sign in to the school account.
- Download files from OneDrive.
- Sign in to your personal Microsoft account.
- Upload the files to your personal OneDrive.
2/ Share files between accounts
- From the school account, share OneDrive folders with your personal account.
- Sign in to the personal account and copy the shared files into your own OneDrive.
3/ Export emails (using Outlook classic desktop)
- Add both the school account and personal account to Outlook desktop.
- Export the school mailbox to a PST file.
- Import the PST file into the personal mailbox.
4/ Contact your school IT administrator
If you no longer have access to your school account or it has already been disabled, we recommend contacting your school’s IT administrator for further support. You can ask them to:
- Temporarily re-enable the school accounts (if possible) so you can sign in and retrieve the data.
- Export the mailbox content (emails, calendar, contacts) and provide it as a PST file.
- Export the OneDrive data and share it with you or provide a downloadable copy.
I hope the information above is helpful. If you have any further questions, please feel free to reach out.
