Trying to print an Envelope A2 using Word, but there is no option for that size. It is a standard Envelope size (4.375"x5.75") How do I do it? My HP printer already has the Envelope A2 as an option.

If you have set the same printer to be the active printer in Word, then Word will display all the sizes that are available in the driver.

To set your printer as the active printer, choose File>Print in Word and choose your HP printer from the Printer dropdown. Then leave the Print backstage page and return to your document. Choose Layout>Size and select A2 envelope.

To print an Envelope A2 using Word, you need to ensure that the envelope size is defined in your printer settings. Here are the steps to follow:

    1. Check Printer Settings: Make sure your HP printer is set up correctly and that the Envelope A2 size is available in the printer's settings. You can do this by accessing the printer properties through the Control Panel or the printer's software.
    2. Create a Custom Paper Size in Windows: If Envelope A2 is not listed in Word, you may need to create a custom paper size. You can do this by:
      • Going to the Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
      • Right-click on your printer and select Printer properties.
      • Click on the Device settings tab, then look for an option to create a custom paper size. Specify the dimensions (4.375" x 5.75") for the Envelope A2.
    3. Select the Custom Size in Word: Once the custom size is created, open Word and go to File > Print. In the print settings, select your printer and then choose the custom size you created from the paper size options.
    4. Print Setup: When you go to print, make sure to select the correct paper source that corresponds to the Envelope A2 size.

By following these steps, you should be able to print on an Envelope A2 using Word with your HP printer.
