Open the old Control Panel, not the new Settings App.

At the top of the old Control Panel, set View to large icons.

Open the Programs and Features applet.

In the list if installed apps, find Office, select it and click Uninstall.

You should get a notification indicating Office cannot be found and ask you if you want to remove it from the list of installed apps, select Yes.

That process should remove the associated registry key for the Office installation.

To resolve the issue of having Microsoft Office Pro Plus listed in the Uninstall Programs but not being able to reinstall it, you should first ensure that all remnants of the Office installation are completely removed. Here are the steps you can follow:

    1. Restart Your Computer: Sometimes, a simple restart can help clear any issues with the installation files.
    2. Use the Automated Troubleshooter: Microsoft provides an automated tool that can help you uninstall Office completely. You can find this tool on the Microsoft support website.
    3. Manual Uninstallation: If the automated tool does not work, you may need to manually uninstall Office. You can do this by:
      • Going to Control Panel > Programs > Uninstall a program.
      • Find Microsoft Office Pro Plus in the list, select it, and click Uninstall.
      • Follow the prompts to complete the uninstallation.
    4. Delete Remaining Files: After uninstalling, check for any remaining Office folders in the following locations and delete them:
      • C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office
      • C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office
      • C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Office
      • C:\Users\YourUsername\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Office
    5. Clean the Registry: If you're comfortable with it, you can also clean the registry to remove any leftover entries related to Office. Be cautious when editing the registry, as incorrect changes can affect your system.
    6. Reboot Again: After performing these steps, restart your computer once more.
    7. Reinstall Office: Now you should be able to reinstall Microsoft Office Pro Plus without any issues.

If you continue to face problems, consider reaching out to Microsoft Support for further assistance.
