    1

Open Device Manager (accessible by right clicking your Start Button)

    Expand the Batteries section

For each device in that section:

    Right click and choose Disable

Wait a second or two, then right click and choose Enable

    Close Device Manager

Restart (not shut down) your laptop, then check if that resolves the problem.

    2

If that does not resolve the problem, click your Start Button, then just type msinfo and press Enter, please provide a screenshot of the resulting System INformation window.

The battery is failing or weak. It can’t provide enough power to start the laptop. You can replace the battery.

If your laptop is not starting without the charger connected, it may indicate a few potential issues:

    1. Battery Failure: The battery might be faulty or unable to hold a charge, which is why the laptop only powers on when connected to the charger.
    2. Battery Charge Level: If the battery is completely depleted, the laptop may not boot without the charger until it has enough charge.
    3. Power Management Settings: There could be settings or issues related to power management that prevent the laptop from booting without sufficient battery power.
    4. Hardware Issues: There may be a hardware issue with the battery or charging system that prevents the laptop from functioning properly without being plugged in.

In general, laptops should be able to boot and operate when connected to AC power, regardless of the battery charge level. If the battery is removable, you might want to check its condition or replace it if necessary.
