    Hello isaac troy,

Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum!

I understand that you are having issue with Student Email Verification Issue for LinkedIn Offer. I truly understand how you feel. Let me assist you go through this situation.

    1. Make sure you are using your official school email

    Do NOT use:

    • Outlook.com
    • Hotmail
    • Gmail
    • Yahoo
    • A personal Microsoft account

Those are often used for identity verification and MFA codes but won’t pass academic status checks.

    2. Try manual verification (upload documents)

If auto‑verification fails, Microsoft normally offers a manual review option via SheerID.
Look for an option like: “Verify another way” or “Upload documents”

    Accepted documents usually include:

    • Student ID card
    • Enrollment letter
    • Current class schedule
    • Tuition invoice
    • Acceptance letter (sometimes)

    Ensure the document shows:

    • Your full name
    • School name
    • Current academic year or active dates

    3. Ask your school to confirm if your email is flagged as a student/academic account

Some schools provide multiple email types (staff, alumni, continuing ed).
Only active enrolled student emails pass verification.

    4. Clear browser cache or use private/incognito mode

MFA or school login cookies can interfere with identity flows. This is consistent with Microsoft guidance when identity verification loops occur.

    5. Try a different device/network

    Identity checks can fail when:

    • the IP is flagged as unusual
    • a VPN is active
    • network security blocks redirects

Microsoft also blocks verification temporarily when unusual activity is detected.

If nothing works: Contact the correct support team:

    1. Go to the official Microsoft Support page: https://support.microsoft.com/contact-us
    2. Type “Contact” in the search box.
    3. Select Get Help > Contact Support.
    4. Choose your product category (e.g., Microsoft 365 & Office).
    5. Pick your issue (like billing, subscription, technical).
    6. Choose Chat with a support agent or request a call. (Phone support availability varies by region.)

Please note that the chat support team only works during certain working hours. Therefore, if the last window indicates that you are unavailable, try opening it again the next day. If you prefer phone support, you can leave a phone number. That way, they can call you and help you.

I hope this will help with your situation. Please feel free to reach back if you have further update or more questions.

    Best Regards,
