Hi,
Thank you for sharing your question. I understand how confusing and inconvenient it can be when one account still receives all your email while the other is required for Microsoft Teams.
It’s completely reasonable to hope for a way to merge both identities so you don’t have to juggle two logins.
At this time, Microsoft does not support merging two Microsoft accounts into a single account. Each account keeps its own email address, subscriptions, purchases, and Teams identity. Because of this, the only practical approach is to choose which account you want to use long‑term and gradually move your services, logins, and data to that account. For email, you can continue accessing your personal account alongside the subscription account, or you can set up email forwarding, shared inbox, or additional profile setup in Outlook to manage both in one place. For Teams specifically, the subscription account will remain the only one that works because personal one‑time‑purchase accounts are not supported for Microsoft Teams for business use.
May I ask whether you mainly want to keep using your old email address for communication, or are you hoping to consolidate all apps and services under your subscription account?
Feel free to share your preference, and I’ll be happy to guide you through the best way to streamline both accounts so your workflow becomes simpler and easier.
I hope this helps.
Best Regards,
Noel
