    Hi,

What is the model of your Printer?

Did you configure the network via Wi-Fi or USB cable?

    Thanks

It sounds like you're experiencing issues with your printer not communicating with your computer and problems with the driver installation. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue:

    1. Check Printer Connection: Ensure that the printer is properly connected to your computer or network. For wired printers, check that the cable is securely plugged in. For wireless printers, verify that the printer is connected to a functioning Wi-Fi network.
    2. Check Printer Status: Look at the printer's display panel or check the printer status on your computer. If the printer is in a Stopped state, you may need to check for errors such as being Out of toner or Off-line.
    3. Restart the Printer: Turn off the printer, wait about 30 seconds, and then turn it back on. This can often resolve temporary issues.
    4. Run the Printer Troubleshooter: Use the built-in printer troubleshooter on your Windows computer. Go to Settings > System > Troubleshoot > Other troubleshooters, and then select Run next to Printer.
    5. Reinstall the Printer Driver: If the driver is not loading, you may need to uninstall it first. Right-click your printer in Device Manager and select Uninstall device. Then, restart your computer and reinstall the driver. If the driver is not available, you can manually download it from the Windows Update Catalog.
    6. Use Generic Drivers: If the specific driver for your printer is not available, you might consider switching to a generic in-box driver.

Following these steps should help you resolve the communication issue between your printer and computer. If the problem persists, you may need to consult your printer's manual or the manufacturer's support for further assistance.
