We have an issue where Microsoft Defender Secure Score is showing 0% for the tenant. Secure Score recommendations and history are empty ("No data to display" / "No data to show").

It has been 7 days since the license upgrade from E3 to E5 to most of our users on last Friday (1-30-2026). Licensing appears to be valid and active.

No known feature enablement/disablement in Microsoft Defender or related security products during this timeframe.

verified and there are no Advisories or Incidents related to Microsoft Defender, Secure Score, or Security Center.

Tenant synchronization is OK

There is no secure score filters applying. All I can see is 0% and "No data to display" or "No data to show"

I'm accessing Secure Score with an account that has the required permissions I have global administrator role

No recent changes to user roles or access policies

No integrations (e.g., third-party security solutions, SIEM) that could affect Secure Score data

Didn't add or removed any connected services or data sources

No security policies, compliance settings, or device management configurations been changed in the last week

did not recently enabled/disabled any security features in Microsoft Defender

No any errors, failed syncs, or configuration changes related to Secure Score or Defender

tried accessing Secure Score from different browsers or devices not just me, my coworkers too. Clearing cache, different Browsers, and different devices.

The Secure Score was previously showing expected values and recommendations before this issue

Missing data is not showing anything.

I am experiencing the same issue. It used to work. Not sure how long it has not been working. Mine is due to not having E5 or XDR licensing.
