I was trying to send out a group message to my family members about our meeting tomorrow. It included the zoom link for the meeting. Is there a way to make sure I can send out group messages without being stopped by Outlook?

Hi! There's usually a limitation on personal emails to prevent spam. You can try using the BCC (Copy) option instead of including people's email addresses or groups.

If that doesn't work, you can divide the contacts into more groups (10 groups for example) and send the email individually to each one.

The two groups I built from my address book were definitely less than 200 people. And they were groups - I did not list each name individually. Any other ideas?

To avoid being blocked when sending group messages in Outlook, you can try the following options:

    1. Reduce the number of recipients: Try to limit the number of recipients to less than 200. Alternatively, you can send the email message to each recipient individually.
    2. Use distribution lists or groups: Instead of adding individual email addresses, send the email to a distribution list or group that contains your family members. However, avoid expanding the list by selecting the plus sign, as this is treated as adding users individually.
    3. Sensitivity labels: If the recipients are within your organization (if applicable), consider using a sensitivity label that grants permissions to all desired users, such as an administrator-defined label like All Employees. Note that you need administrator permission to configure sensitivity labels.

By following these steps, you should be able to send your group message without encountering restrictions.
