Hi. I'm Brian and I'll try to help.

What do you mean by "received a post"? Do you mean you received an email message that you cannot delete?

If you are unable to delete a post in Outlook, there are several potential reasons and solutions to consider:

    1. Permissions: Make sure you have the necessary permissions to delete the post, especially if it is in a shared or public folder.
    2. Retention Policies: Check if there are any retention policies applied to the post that might prevent deletion. If the post is subject to such policies, you may need to address those first.
    3. Use Outlook Desktop: If you are attempting to delete the post using the mobile app, try using the Outlook desktop application instead, as it may provide better functionality for managing posts.
    4. Recover Deleted Items: If the post is in a public folder, you may need to clear deleted items from that folder. You can do this by going to the public folder in the Outlook desktop client and selecting Recover deleted items.
    5. Contact Support: If you continue to experience issues, consider reaching out to Microsoft Support for additional help.

These steps should help you troubleshoot and resolve the issue with deleting the post.
