Hello, thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A.

Digital goods like apps or games that are purchased from the Microsoft Store have their licenses digitally associated with the specific Microsoft account used for the purchase. Unfortunately, these types of digital licenses cannot be transferred from one Microsoft account to another.

To download the game, only the account owner who purchased the game can sign in to their account on the Xbox or Microsoft Store app to download and install Minecraft. If you no longer have access to that account, unfortunately you cannot transfer the purchase or download the game.

Also note that to keep a Microsoft account active, you must sign in at least once every two years. Otherwise, the account will be placed into an inactive state and may eventually be closed.

To restore your Minecraft license, you typically need to have access to the Microsoft account that the game was purchased under. If you do not have the transaction ID and cannot access the account, your options may be limited. Here are some steps you can consider:

    1. Check Your Microsoft Account: If you have access to the Microsoft account that was used to purchase Minecraft, log in and check your purchase history. You might find your Minecraft license there.
    2. Contact Microsoft Support: Since you do not have the transaction ID, reaching out to Microsoft Support may help. They might be able to assist you in recovering your account or license if you can provide other details, such as the email address associated with the account or any other proof of purchase.
    3. Minecraft Support: You can also contact Minecraft Support directly. They may have alternative methods to verify ownership of the game and help you restore access.
    4. Proof of Ownership: If you can provide any proof of ownership, such as old receipts or details about the account, it may assist in the recovery process.

Unfortunately, without the transaction ID or access to the original account, recovering the license can be challenging.
