My Microsoft account got hacked because I got baited into a phishing scam and the email was completely changed and whenever I try to log in or do a recovery form process it states that my account 'doesn't exist' and when I try create a new one with my email address from the account that was hacked it says the account does exist and also I did constantly put in the correct email address for everything and I know that, I did find the hackers email address on the Microsoft store but not the full one it only shows the first 2 letters and the last 5 are just *. It's also a gmail.

I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing this issue. I'm happy to help.

Based on the error message you are getting, the hacker has already changed your account information, such as your email address, and then deleted it. Please note that if your email account ends in @hotmail, @outlook, @live, or @msn and was removed, replaced, or deleted, it cannot be used to create another account. You will receive an error message stating that it is already in use.

If the account information has already been changed, I'm afraid the account may no longer be recoverable, and the account recovery form may not work as well. You can check the Microsoft article below to see if it can help.

If your Microsoft account has been hacked and the email associated with it has been changed, the recovery process can be challenging. Here are some steps you can take to attempt to regain access:

    1. Use the Microsoft Account Recovery Form: Since you mentioned that the recovery form states your account doesn't exist, ensure that you are using the correct email address associated with your account. If the hacker has removed your email, this may complicate things.
    2. Check for Account Activity: If you can access any Microsoft services that might still be linked to your account, check for any recent activity or changes that could help you prove ownership.
    3. Contact Microsoft Support: Since you have identified the hacker's email address partially, it may be helpful to report this to Microsoft. They may have additional tools to assist you in recovering your account. You can reach out to them through their official support channels.
    4. Monitor for Updates: Keep an eye on any communications from Microsoft regarding your account. If you regain access, immediately change your password and enable two-factor authentication to secure your account.
    5. Inform Your Contacts: If you suspect that your account has been compromised, inform your contacts to be wary of any suspicious messages that may come from your email.

Unfortunately, if the hacker has replaced your security information and you cannot verify your identity through the recovery form, recovery may be difficult. Be persistent in your attempts to contact Microsoft support for further assistance.
