Everytime I hit capslock a grey and box that says AA or aa shows up. It's annoying and distracting. Please help me disable it.

Go to Settings > Apps > Installed Apps, see if you have MSI NBFoundation. If so, uninstall it.

I’m sorry to hear that you’re experiencing this issue. I’m happy to help.

This is usually a feature provided by your device manufacturer. Are you using an HP, Dell, or another brand?

To disable the Caps Lock indicator box that appears when you press the Caps Lock key, you can adjust the settings in Windows. Here are the steps you can follow:

    1. Open Settings: Press Windows + I to open the Settings app.
    2. Go to Ease of Access: Click on Ease of Access.
    3. Select Keyboard: In the left sidebar, select Keyboard.
    4. Turn Off Toggle Keys: Look for the option that says Hear a tone when you press Caps Lock, Num Lock, or Scroll Lock and turn it off. This should disable the visual indicator box for Caps Lock.

If the above steps do not resolve the issue, you may also want to check for any third-party applications that might be controlling keyboard settings or indicators.
