I have been recently using the OneNote on my iPad to taking notes, but I came across a huge issue. The app has the option on the iPad to create a new window so that I can multitask across different notes, but it doesn’t works at all. In the macOS, it works perfectly.but in the iPad, it doesn’t work. So please try to solve this issue as soon as possible.IMG_1583

    Hello One user,

Thank you for posting your question on Microsoft Q&A forum

OneNote on iPad does not truly support multiple independent app windows, even though the UI shows a New Window option. This is a platform limitation on iPad, not a bug.

This thread raises the same concern, you can read more about it here:

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/5222082/multiple-windows-of-one-note-on-ipad

Here is a workaround for you to try:

Use split view on OneNote and OneNote Web

This gives you two different notebooks pages at once

I also suggest you give your feedback on Microsoft feedback hub too, this can help Microsoft improve OneNote for iPad in the future:

Feel free reply back to this post if you need further assistance. I'll be happy to help.
