    Hi Mark Munene,

Thanks for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A Forum. I understand that your webcam appears on your computer but its drivers are not automatically installing.

To help narrow this down, could you please confirm:

    1. What is the brand and model of the webcam?
    2. Does the webcam show any warning icon in Device Manager?

In the meantime, you can try these steps:

    1. Restart your PC and keep it connected to the internet to allow Windows Update to check for drivers again.
    2. Open Device Manager, locate the webcam under Cameras or Imaging devices, right-click it, and select Update driver, then choose Search automatically for drivers.
    3. If the device appears as Unknown device, right-click it, select Uninstall device, restart the PC, and let Windows reinstall it automatically.
    4. Check Windows Update and install all available optional updates related to drivers.
    5. Visit the webcam manufacturer’s official website and download the latest Windows 11 driver for your specific model.
    6. Connect the webcam to a different USB port to rule out a port-related issue.
