If you can't find the option, disconnect your account from Outlook > Uninstall it > Restart your computer > Install Outlook again.

Q&A Assist2026-02-07T13:40:45.82+00:00 AI generated content. This question contains an answer created with AI from Q&A Assist. Learn moreIt seems you are experiencing difficulties with adding a different email account in the New Outlook for Windows. Here are some steps to help you:
- Accessing Account Settings: In the New Outlook, the full menu may not be accessible as it is in the classic version. To add an account, you typically need to go to the Settings (gear icon) located in the top right corner of the window. From there, you should find the option to manage accounts.
- Adding an Account: Once in the settings, look for an option like Accounts or Add Account. If you do not see this option, it may be due to the limitations of the New Outlook interface.
- Version Information: To find the version of Outlook you are using, you can usually check under the Help section or the About section in the settings. However, the New Outlook may not display this information as prominently as the classic version.
- Limitations: Keep in mind that the New Outlook supports specific account types, and if your account type is not supported, you may encounter issues when trying to add it.
If these steps do not resolve your issue, consider switching back to the classic Outlook temporarily to manage your accounts until the New Outlook interface is fully functional for your needs.
