Using Powershell 5.1 to create an Azure user, how do I connect to the TenantDomain?

Using Powershell 5.1 to create an Azure user. But whenever I try to connect to AzureAD, the TenantDomain column is blank. It appears I'm not a member of the Tenant. I'm using a personal account to login to Mircrosoft but i don't see another option.

You need to connect to the tenant using Microsoft Graph PowerShell and sign in with a work or school account that belongs to that tenant. Personal Microsoft accounts will not show the tenant domain.

1. Install Microsoft Graph module (one time):

Install-Module Microsoft.Graph -Scope CurrentUser

2. Connect to your tenant:

Connect-MgGraph -TenantId "xxxxxxxxx.onmicrosoft.com" -Scopes "User.ReadWrite.All"

Sign in with your tenant account when the login window opens.

3. Check tenant details:

Get-MgOrganization | Select DisplayName, VerifiedDomains

4. Create a new user:

New-MgUser -DisplayName "Test User" ` -UserPrincipalName "******@xxxx.onmicrosoft.com" ` -MailNickname "testuser" ` -AccountEnabled:$true ` -PasswordProfile @{Password="xxxxxxx";ForceChangePasswordNextSignIn=$true}

If you only have a personal account, ask the tenant admin to add you to the tenant first.
