I understand that you're running into two separate issues:
Ads showing despite Premium
This can happen when the game loses sync with your Microsoft account. Once you can reinstall the game, try:
- Confirm you're signed into the same Microsoft account used to buy Premium.
- Go to Settings > Apps > Installed Apps > Microsoft Mahjong > Advanced Options > Reset.
- Sign out and back into the Microsoft Store and the game.
- If you bought Premium on another platform (like Android), it won’t apply to Windows.
Reinstall stuck
This is likely due to a recent power outage at a Microsoft Azure data center, which disrupted both the Microsoft Store and Windows Update services. The issue should resolve on its own once recovery is complete.
