Sharepoint Online - Customize Search

Question

Hi there,

I am wondering if it is possible to costumize the searching in sharepoint online? I can only filter by period.

Can I adjust this funktion? (e.g. file type)

Per my test, "File type" filter displays well in organization search scope:

If we search in the site, only when we click on the "File" vertical search, the File type filter will be displayed as follows:
