I cannot get into my Office 365 because the email associated with it is no longer functional. It keeps sending confirmation codes to that email that doesn't work.

How do I contact a live person to explain or correct the problem?

    Hello mark mehle,

Thank you for reaching out in Microsoft Q&A forum.

I understand how frustrating it is to be locked out of your Office 365 account because the confirmation codes are going to an email you can no longer access.

When the recovery email is no longer usable, the only way to regain access is to complete Microsoft’s account recovery form. For security reasons, Microsoft Support cannot bypass verification or manually unlock the account.

You can reach Account & Billing support by signing in at: https://support.microsoft.com/contactus (choose “Microsoft account” > “Account recovery”).

If you cannot sign in at all, go to I can't sign in to my Microsoft account page and use Sign in helper, this will route you to an available support representative.

    Hope this helps

If you are locked out of your Office 365 account because the email associated with it is no longer functional, you will need to contact Microsoft support to regain access. Here are the steps you can take:

    1. Contact Microsoft Support: You can reach out to Microsoft Customer Support. If you are unable to log in to your account, you can still contact support by using a different account or creating a new one if necessary.
      • Go to the Microsoft Support page and look for options to contact support.
      • When prompted, explain that you are locked out of your account due to the email not functioning.
    2. Provide Necessary Information: Be prepared to provide details about your account, including your email address associated with the Office 365 account and any other relevant information that can help verify your identity.
    3. Alternative Methods: If you cannot reach a live person through the standard support channels, consider using the recovery form available at https://account.live.com/acsr to verify your ownership of the account.
    4. Trial Tenant Option: If you are still unable to contact support, you might consider creating a new trial tenant to submit a support ticket. This would allow you to access the admin console of the new tenant and request assistance regarding your locked account.

These steps should help you get in touch with a live person who can assist you in resolving your issue.
