Authenticator doesn't show my personal email but I get verify code and that doesn't come up

I got a new Dell pc and wanted to connect my iphone to Microsoft and in the Authenticator app, it shows, "add an account", I did this and ended up having to change my password. It looks like my account is signed up, hence the code verification, but the code doesn't show up. The notifications are all on, I just don't get the code popping up to valid verification and my email account not showing in the app.

It sounds like you're experiencing issues with the Microsoft Authenticator app not displaying your personal email account and not showing the verification code. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot this issue:

    1. Check Notifications: Ensure that notifications are enabled for the Microsoft Authenticator app on your iPhone. Sometimes, even if notifications are turned on, there might be settings at the system level that could prevent them from appearing.
    2. Re-add the Account: Since you mentioned that you added an account and had to change your password, try removing the account from the Authenticator app and then re-adding it. This can sometimes resolve syncing issues.
    3. Update the App: Make sure that the Microsoft Authenticator app is updated to the latest version. An outdated app may not function properly.
    4. Check for Multiple Accounts: If you have multiple accounts set up in the Authenticator app, ensure that you are looking at the correct account for the verification code.
    5. Contact Support: If none of these steps work, consider reaching out to Microsoft Support for further assistance. They can help you verify your identity and troubleshoot any account-specific issues.

If you continue to experience problems, it may be beneficial to check the official Microsoft documentation or support channels for more detailed guidance.
