I am trying to install Intuit TurboTax Business on my laptop and it states that it requires Microsoft Visual C++ Redistribuable but when I try to install that it hangs up about a third of the way through. How can I fix this so I can install my programs?

Hello Raelyn Maddox, welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum.

It looks like you're installing the Visual C++ Redistributable through the built-in package included with the TurboTax installer. That bundled version might be the issue.

Try installing the Redistributables manually from the official Microsoft page instead: Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable latest supported downloads

Download and install both the x86 and x64 versions listed under “Latest supported Visual C++ Redistributable”.

After installing both, restart your computer and then run the TurboTax installer again.
