    Hello,

You would need to contact the seller you bought it from. If they are legitimate/authorized reseller, they do have support from Microsoft in this case.

Hello, I’m Quinn and I’m here to help!

If you purchased Office Home from a physical store, the retailer may be able to verify your purchase and assist with a replacement.

I also recommend reaching out directly to Microsoft Support. Explain that your product key was accidentally scratched and is now illegible. With proof of purchase, they can usually issue a replacement key or provide another way to activate your Office software. You can contact them here: https://support.microsoft.com/contactus/

Just to clarify, did you buy this as a physical card from a store, or was it shipped to you by an online retailer?

If you have scratched off part of your product key for Office Home software and cannot enter it, you have a few options:

    1. Check the Packaging: Sometimes, the product key might be printed in multiple locations on the packaging. Check if there are any other areas where the key is visible.
    2. Contact Microsoft Support: You can reach out to Microsoft Support for assistance. They may be able to help you recover your product key if you provide proof of purchase.
    3. Check Your Microsoft Account: If you registered your product with a Microsoft account, you might be able to find your product key by logging into your account at account.microsoft.com. Look under the Services & Subscriptions section to see if your Office product is listed there.
    4. Purchase a Replacement Key: If you are unable to recover your key, you may need to purchase a new product key from Microsoft or an authorized retailer.

Make sure to keep your product key in a safe place in the future to avoid similar issues.
