Cannot print to HP LaserJet P1606dn network printer

Prior to rejoining the insider program after a year absence (because of issues with releases) I could print to my default printer from any app. After rejoining several new pieces of software were installed with the result being that I cannot connect to this printer. Prior to the updates there was one IP port described as an Advanced TCP/IP Port Monitor. The printer was connected to this port. There are now four of these ports plus a port labeled WSD-072215d9-afe2-4371-8216-613afe44b9b0 IPP port. The system will not let me return to a restore point set before the updates nor can I uninstall the updates. I tried reinstalling the HP supplied driver, but I can't do this either. It appears that I'll have to reinstall a non-beta version of the OS if I want to be able to print.
