My Microsoft Account was hacked and the primary email was changed to a jerkoffmail.com address

Note: I am writing this from a secondary account because I have completely lost access to my main account.

Hi,

My main Microsoft account has been compromised. An attacker changed my primary login email to a jerkoffmail.com address.

I can still find my account using my phone number, but I cannot sign in because the attacker has changed the password and security settings.

I have all the necessary evidence to prove ownership, including:

Order IDs for my game purchases (Minecraft and others).

Transaction IDs for digital items.

My Xbox Gamertag and account history.

The last 4 digits of the credit card used for these transactions.

I am not sharing my specific personal details here for security reasons. However, I am ready to provide all of them to a Microsoft support agent via a private, secure channel to verify that I am the rightful owner.

Please help me escalate this case so I can regain access.

    Hi Berkay

Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A Forum. I understand that your personal Microsoft account was compromised and the primary email address was changed. I'm really sorry you're going through this.

Please kindly note that this is a public user-to-user forum, I do not have the ability, tools to unblock, recover accounts or bypass security. Only Microsoft’s official recovery process can restore access.

    1. Just to confirm, have you tried submitting the Microsoft Account Recovery form (ACSR)?
    2. In addition, please also try to fill out this official Xbox recovery form as well: Recover your Microsoft account - Xbox Support

This form may be more effective for accounts with Xbox subscriptions. When completing the form, provide as much detail as possible. The more information you can give, the better the support team can verify ownership and restore access.

    1. If the recovery form doesn’t work or get rejected, please reach out directly to the Microsoft Support team for further assistance. It may offer live chat and, depending on your subscription/region, an option to request a callback:
    • Go to Contact - Microsoft Support
    • In the search box, type the issue keyword related to Microsoft account recovery or compromised account.
    • Click "Get Help", then scroll to the bottom and select "Contact Support”.
    • When prompted to select Products & Services, select "Other Products"; Under Category, select "Manage account security".
    • Look for and select "Chat with a support agent in your web browser" (during business hours) or a similar callback option (if available). Explain your situation clearly. User's image
    • Please note that The Chat support team only works at certain times, so if the last window says you are not available, try to open it again the next day. If you prefer phone support, you can leave a phone number. That way, they can contact you back and help you further.

For more details, you can see this official guide: How to recover a hacked or compromised Microsoft account - Microsoft Support

I truly appreciate your precious time and understanding. Please feel free to let me know how it goes.

Note: Please follow the steps in our documentation to enable e-mail notifications if you want to receive the related email notification for this thread.
