Add new Database in new region in Oracle@Azure

Hello,

I have opened database Oracle@AZure in SOuthUK and WestUK.

I wulod like to add databases in Central France and paired region.

Do I need to open a new OCI tenant / subscription using Azure console or could I use existing tenant.

Existing Tenant: You can use your existing Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) tenant to provision databases in the Central France region, provided that your tenancy has access to that region. You don't need to open a new OCI tenant or subscription.

Provisioning in New Regions: To add your databases in Central France, ensure that you select the correct region during provisioning in the Azure portal. Just follow these steps:

Go to the Azure portal.

Navigate to the Oracle Database@Azure application.

Click on "Create an Oracle Autonomous Database".

Fill out the required information, ensuring you select the Central France region.

If you're seeing issues with no option to add the database in the Central France region, it might be due to:

Your subscription not having access to that region.

Possible limitations based on your current setup or resource group.up.

I'm in this case. I think it's related to subscription and available region in OCI.

Should I open a ticket on Azure side or OCI side?

Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft QA and your patience and for sharing the context around your deployment scenario. I completely understand how important it is for you to provision staging slots within the same region, and I realize the current limitation in the specified region is impacting your deployment.

If services cannot be created there right now, it unfortunately means you would need to consider relocating your deployment to a region where this functionality is fully supported.
