    1

    Open the Settings App.

Go to Apps - Installed Apps.

Scroll down to find the Snipping Tool app.

Select the app., choose 'Advanced Options'.

Then, run the Repair option and the Reset option on that app.

If that does not resolve the problem, uninstall the Snipping Tool app from that location in the Settings App.

Restart (not shut down) your PC, then download and install the latest version of the Snipping Tool app from the Store.

If Snip & Sketch is not responding to the Windows + Shift + S shortcut, here are a few steps you can try to troubleshoot the issue:

    1. Check for Updates: Ensure that your Snip & Sketch app is up to date. You can check for updates in the Microsoft Store.
    2. Restart the App: Close Snip & Sketch completely and reopen it to see if the issue persists.
    3. Reset the App: Go to Settings > Apps > Apps & features, find Snip & Sketch, and select the option to reset the app. This can help resolve any underlying issues.
    4. Keyboard Shortcuts: Make sure that the shortcut for Snip & Sketch is enabled. You can check this in Settings > Ease of Access > Keyboard. Look for the option to enable the Print Screen key to launch screen snipping.
    5. Use Alternative Methods: If the shortcut still does not work, you can access Snip & Sketch directly from the Start menu or by searching for it. You can also use the Print Screen button if available, or check if your keyboard has a dedicated snipping button.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, consider checking for any system updates or reinstalling the Snip & Sketch app.
