Windows 10 - I'm getting 100% disk usage in Task Manager

All of a sudden my Windows 10 laptop is showing 100% disc usage in task manager. My laptop as almost stopped working. Has anyone had this problem?

    Thank's for your reply. I am not that confident to carry out the suggestions you've made so I will print what you propose and take the laptop to someone that knows what they're doing.

    If you're using HDD, I would consider switching it SSD for optimal performance.

    Also, I suggest you to run System File Checker scan:

    1. Search for 'command prompt' using Cortana or Windows Search.
    2. From results, right click on Command Prompt and select Run as administrator.
    3. Type sfc /scannow command and press Enter key.
    4. Let the command complete and then reboot the machine.

    Open Task Manager (Ctrl + Shift + Esc).

    Select the Processes tab in Task Manager.

    Click the Disk column header so the arrow on that column header points down.

    Please provide a screenshot of that full Task Manager window.
