If your Microsoft 365 apps, including Excel, are not opening and the repair option is not working, you can try performing an Online Repair. Here are the steps to do this:
- Close all Office apps (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
- Open Settings on your Windows device.
- Go to Apps > Installed apps.
- Find Microsoft 365 (or Office) in the list.
- Click the three dots next to it and select Modify.
- Choose Online Repair and confirm.
- The repair process may take 15-30 minutes, so do not cancel it even if it seems slow.
- Restart your PC once the repair finishes.
- After restarting, try opening Excel again to see if the issue is resolved.
If the problem persists, further troubleshooting may be needed, such as uninstalling and reinstalling Office or checking for any remaining corrupted files.
