    Hello,

Do you need desktop version of Office apps like Word, Excel, etc ?

If you don't need the apps, check out the Exchange plan: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/exchange/compare-microsoft-exchange-online-plans

Or Microsoft 365 Basic plan: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/business/microsoft-365-business-basic

For business licenses, each user needs their own license.

To determine the most affordable email plan for your two businesses with different domain names, you might consider the following options:

    1. Microsoft 365 Business Basic: This plan allows you to set up business emails with your own domain names. It is generally the most cost-effective option for small businesses needing basic email and collaboration tools.
    2. Microsoft 365 Business Standard: This plan is slightly more expensive than Business Basic but includes additional features such as desktop versions of Office applications. If you need these extra features, it might be worth the investment.

Both plans allow you to create multiple email addresses under your domain names, so you can set up two or three email addresses for each business as needed.

To decide which plan is more affordable, consider your budget and whether you need the extra features provided by the Business Standard plan. If basic email functionality is sufficient, the Business Basic plan would likely be the most affordable choice.
