I cannot receive Hotmail emails

I cannot get my Hotmail emails. I am on a Apple MAC and we have deleted and added the Outlook account twice now - no success.

    Hi, I'm John! I will help you with this.To help narrow down the issue:

    1. Are you accessing your Hotmail account through the Outlook app on your Mac, or through a web browser at outlook.com?
    2. Are you able to sign in to your Hotmail account at https://outlook.live.com/mail using a web browser, and do you see your emails there?
    3. Are new emails not arriving at all, or are they going to another folder like Junk, Archive, or Focused/Other?
