Hi there I have tried to get into my Microsoft account for about a week or two now and can’t find anyway it will let me into it. And I’m getting pretty angry now because I do not want to loose that account as I bought both of the Minecraft’s on that account. Please try and find a way to log me back in as it is really frustrating especially as a 14 year old who just wants to play a game. Many thanks

    Hi Benjamin Curtis Howitz,

Thank you for explaining what’s been happening to Microsoft Q&A Forum. I’m really sorry you’re dealing with this and I completely understand how upsetting it is.

Please note that this is a user-to-user support forum. Moderators and contributors, including external Microsoft employees, are not allowed to directly interfere with Microsoft product features or access back-end systems. Our role is limited solely to providing technical guidance on reported incidents, requests, or ideas.

Account access is protected very strictly, especially for accounts belonging to minors, and only Microsoft’s account recovery systems can restore access.

That said, there are still the correct steps to follow so you don’t lose your purchases.

    1. Together with a parent/guardian, submit the Microsoft account recovery form: https://account.live.com/acsr When filling it out, try to be as accurate as possible and include:
      • The original email address for the account
      • Any previous passwords you remember
      • Information about purchases (such as Minecraft)
    2. If the recovery form keeps failing, a parent or guardian will need to contact Microsoft Support directly > Briefly describe your issue > Enter > Scroll down and select "Contact Support" to connect with a live agent via chat on your browser They should explain that:
    • The account belongs to a minor
    • It is locked
    • Minecraft purchases are tied to the account

I know this has been going on longer than it should, and I’m really sorry you’re stuck in this situation. Hopefully my response gives you some useful directions toward fixing this.
