Microsoft.com login: support by chat

I have multiple problems every time I try to log in, regardless of device.

Get Help troubleshooters are of no help.

Where can I chat with Support? Ideally, without having to log in to Microsoft.com!

Thanks.

    Hi Andrew Dillon,

Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A forum.

I am sorry to hear that you have been experiencing persistent sign‑in incidents. I understand how frustrating it can be when this happens across multiple devices and when the self‑help tools, including Get Help troubleshooters, do not resolve the situation.

The Get Help experience is primarily designed to provide automated guidance. In some scenarios, it does not offer a direct way to contact Support. For account‑related incidents, users must sign in with a Microsoft account before chat or callback options become available.

If you are unable to sign in with your usual Microsoft account, you can try one of the following options to contact Support:

    1. Sign in with a different Microsoft account (if available, or create a temporary account) to access Support

    2. Use the account recovery process at:

    3. Contact Support through the Microsoft Support website:

    • Visit: https://support.microsoft.com/contactus
    • Enter your concern in the search box and select Get Help
    • Sign in with another Microsoft account to continue
    • Select the appropriate product and category related to your situation
    • Choose Chat with a support agent in your web browser (or a callback option, if available)
    • Clearly explain your situation so that the Support team can assist you further

Please note that this is a user-to-user support forum. Moderators, contributors including external Microsoft employees cannot directly intervene in Microsoft product features or access back-end systems. Our role is limited to providing technical guidance on reported issues, requests, or ideas only.

    Thank you for your understanding.
