I purchased Office 2021 iOS version and installed it. Today I edited a previous spreadsheet but am unable to print it or save it. Those functions are grayed out. I message box came up that said "It was not activated". Instructions please on how to activate it. This is a rather lengthy spreadsheet and I hope not to lose it all.

Apparently you still have an earlier version or the Trial version installed. This creates a Licensing conflict. Please see: Remove Office license

Hi! The Office version installed on your Mac is Microsoft 365. You need to uninstall it and install Office 2021.

    1. Go to Apps > Find the Microsoft 365 apps (Word, Excel)... > Right-click > Move to Trash > Do this for all apps.
    2. Go to https://account.microsoft.com/account > Log in with your Microsoft account where Office is linked > Click on Subscriptions > Expand Office or similar > Click on Install Apps > Choose your system version.

I assume you meant macOS — iOS is the Apple operating system for their mobile devices. It isn't used on Mac computers. If my assumption is correct you should be able to launch Word then click the program name in the menu bar & select the Activate command. Follow the prompts then restart the Mac.
