The individual programs cannot be downloaded/installed. The Office Suite installer must be used.

Doesn't work: neither Excel 16.100 nor Word 16.100.

    Hello.

You can download Excel 16.100 directly from the official Microsoft Update History for Office for Mac page. Go to the official release history here:

    https://learn.microsoft.com/officeupdates/update-history-office-for-mac

Scroll down the page to the Release history for Office for Mac table. Look for the August 2025 entries. You will see Version 16.100 (likely dated around August 12, 2025). Click on the Update package link next to Excel to download the installer.

Despite the name, this package works as a full installer for the application.

To download Excel version 16.100 that is compatible with macOS Ventura 13.7.8, you will need to install an older version of Office. Microsoft supports only the three most recent versions of macOS, but you can still activate Office using your license. You can refer to the article on installing and activating Office on older computers for guidance on how to proceed.
