Fixing my Microsoft permissions

With specific websites, I have to ask permission to get into sites. I am over 18 and don't even know who these requests are being sent to. How can I change or fix this in my settings?

This issue almost always means your Microsoft account is currently enrolled in a Microsoft Family group as a child member, or your birth date on the account is set to a minor age. When you click Ask for Permission, the request is sent to the email address of the account listed as the Organizer in that family group.

Go to family.microsoft.com and sign in with your account. Look to see if there are other people listed there or if you are in a group. If you see an Organizer listed, that is who controls the restrictions.
