Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.
Regarding your issue, may I kindly ask a few questions to help understand it better:
- On your laptop’s sign‑in screen, what exact option or message do you see? (Examples: “Enter PIN,” “Enter password,” “Sign in with security key,” or “Sign in with Microsoft account.”)
If you’re not sure, just type the exact text you see or describe the icons (key icon, face icon, fingerprint icon, etc.).
If you still have access to another trusted device (for example, a phone or tablet):
- Go to Microsoft account security: https://account.microsoft.com/security
- Sign in using another available verification method, such as:
- Microsoft Authenticator
- A recovery email or phone number
- A security key (if one was previously set up)
- Once signed in, you can:
- Remove the old passkey
- Create a new passkey on a device you can access
- If you do not have access to any sign‑in method, you’ll need to use Microsoft’s account recovery form to verify ownership and regain access: https://account.live.com/acsr
For more details, please refer to: Signing in with a passkey
Hopefully it will help work with your issue and if you have any other questions or need further assistance, feel free to ask.
