I cannot access an email address I set up for my son on his birth. There has been no emails SENT from the account ever. It was only meant to be used as a catch all for us to send pictures and information to him for when he grows up. So many people have emailed him already. Using the microsoft email recovery is useless and you cant ever speak to anyone from microsoft as theres no direct number. Please can someone help. This is the most frustrating thing ever. I just want to get his email address back.

    Hello, Jay Whittaker.

Try contacting Microsoft Support in a chat rather than by phone. To do this, log in to your MS profile on the page https://support.microsoft.com/en-US/home/contact?SourceApp=smc2&ContactUsExperienceEntryPointAssetId=www.microsoft.com

In the search bar, type (without quotes) "agent support" and press Enter or click on Get Help. Ignore the search results, and click on the "Contact Support" button at the bottom. On the next page, select "Other Products" and "Billing and Account Profile questions" from the drop-down lists, and then click on "Confirm". Next, select the chat "Chat with a support agent in your web browser" and on the next page, enter (if requested) your (the one that works) email address and click on "Confirm". A chat window opens in a new tab. Wait for the specialist's response and explain the situation to him. If possible, they will definitely help you.

    Hi Jay,

MS recovery relies mostly on previous passwords, sent emails, frequent sign‑ins, linked phone numbers or backup emails.

MS support are unable to unlock or override accounts so it is not unsurprising that you have not gotten anywhere.

The only option I believe to be available to you would be to fill out an account recovery form.

    https://account.live.com/acsr

If at all possible try to fill out the form using the same wifi device and browser you used when creating the account as this could help.

Be persistent and patient but there is no guarantee as the account has not been used as a normal account would have.

Hope this helps and good luck.
