Hello @Joshua Moore,
Thank you for reaching out to the Q&A forum!
After reviewing the information you shared and doing some additional research, I found a related Microsoft Q&A post where a teacher mentioned that they can click the bell icon in an assignment to send a reminder to students: Teams Education Assignment Reminders - Microsoft Q&A
However, this reminder is manual, not automatic, and is not triggered by the assignment approaching its due date.
At this time, there is no official Microsoft article that confirms the availability of a feature allowing users to add automatic or customizable reminders for assignments that are due soon. Based on current documentation and community discussions, this functionality is not supported yet.
I agree with you that this would be a very useful and practical feature to help both teachers and students better manage upcoming deadlines.
Since you mentioned that you’re unable to find the Feedback option in Teams, I highly recommend submitting your suggestion directly through the Microsoft Feedback Portal, so the Microsoft Product Team can review and consider adding this feature in future updates.
If you’ve already submitted feedback, please feel free to share the link here; this will allow not only me, but also others in the community to vote it up. I truly appreciate your understanding and patience as Microsoft continues to evolve the platform.
Looking forward to hearing from you!
