Hi , myself Ronit . I recently changed my motherboard and now it shows to activate windows again. when im trying it is showing that We can’t find any devices linked to your Microsoft account that can be used for reactivating the device you’re using right now. Make sure you’re signed in with the same Microsoft account you linked to the Windows 10 digital license on this device or try again later. I only have this pc and no other device. How can i get my license back . Help me out

Hello, thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A.

May I please know how you activated Windows earlier?

Did the device come with a preinstalled Windows OEM key, or did you purchase and activate a Windows license separately from a third-party retailer or directly from the Microsoft Store?

And, type slmgr.vbs /dlv in the command prompt window and post a screenshot of the resulting dialog box here.

To reactivate your Windows after changing your motherboard, you should follow these steps:

    1. Sign in with the Correct Microsoft Account: Ensure that you are signed in with the same Microsoft account that was linked to your Windows 10 digital license before the hardware change.
    2. Use the Activation Troubleshooter: Go to Settings > Update & Security > Activation, and select "Troubleshoot". This may help you reactivate Windows if it recognizes your digital license.
    3. Contact Microsoft Support: If the troubleshooter does not resolve the issue and your device is not listed under your Microsoft account, you may need to contact Microsoft support. They can assist in reactivating your license by verifying your account and the digital license associated with it.
    4. Check Device List: Make sure to check the devices linked to your Microsoft account. Sometimes, unlinking devices can cause issues with reactivation.

If you continue to experience problems, reaching out to Microsoft support is often the most effective way to resolve activation issues after significant hardware changes.
