    Hi @Nichols, Deborah

    Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum.

Thank you for reaching out and sharing your concern. As I have tested the functionality to print double sided across multiple Excel versions and devices, I was not able to find an Excel-specific feature equivalent to Word’s double sided print settings. I understand how inconvenient it can be when a feature works in one program but not in another.

To work around this, please try the following steps:

    1. Copy the required data from the Excel worksheet.
    2. Paste the data into a Word document.
    3. Adjust the layout as needed, such as page size, orientation, or scaling.
    4. Print the document from Word using the copier’s double-sided option.

Although this is not the ideal workflow, it is currently the most consistent way to achieve double-sided printing when the source data originates from Excel.

I understand how important this functionality is for your workflow. I recommend submitting feedback directly to Microsoft via the Feedback Portal to help prioritize this feature in future updates.

If you are experiencing issues with printing double-sided (duplex) in Excel but it works in Word, it may be related to the specific settings or compatibility of the printer with Excel. Here are some steps you can try:

    1. Check Printer Settings: Ensure that the duplex printing option is enabled in the printer settings when you are printing from Excel. You can usually find this option in the print dialog under "Printer Properties" or "Preferences."
    2. Update Printer Drivers: Make sure that the printer drivers are up to date. Sometimes, outdated drivers can cause issues with specific applications.
    3. Test Different Excel Files: Since you mentioned trying different Excel documents, ensure that the documents do not have any specific settings that might prevent duplex printing.
    4. Print Preview: Use the "Print Preview" feature in Excel to check if the duplex option is available before printing.
    5. Try Another Application: If possible, try printing from another application that supports Excel files, such as a PDF viewer, to see if duplex printing works there.

If the issue persists, it may be a known compatibility issue with Excel or the specific printer being used. You might want to consult the printer's manual or support resources for further troubleshooting steps.
