Building and customizing solutions using Microsoft 365 Copilot APIs and tools
Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum
Regarding your issue, may I kindly ask a question to help understand it better:
- When you say, “Copilot usage in Power Platform”, are you referring to Copilot in Microsoft Fabric / Power BI, or Copilot Studio (Power Platform agents)?
The licensing and pricing are different, so I’ll outline both below.
If you mean Copilot in Microsoft Fabric / Power BI
Copilot for Fabric and Power BI requires a paid Microsoft Fabric capacity and the minimum supported capacity is F2.
Fabric capacities are purchased through Azure, and pricing depends on region and currency. Microsoft publishes the official pricing on the Azure pricing site: Microsoft Fabric pricing
If you mean Power Platform Copilot (Copilot Studio)
If you’re referring to Copilot Studio (used for building and running agents in the Power Platform)
- Fabric capacity is not required
- Usage is licensed through Copilot Credits, not Fabric SKUs
Microsoft documents Copilot Studio pricing and credit‑based usage separately from Fabric capacity: Microsoft agent usage estimator
Copilot Studio has its own pricing model, published separately by Microsoft: Flexible Copilot plans for every organization
Hope to hear back from you soon.
