Microsoft turned on MFA on my Azure account

I have had an Azure subsription for many many years.

I tried logging in recently and it is asking for authenticator or code as other way to authenticate.

I never had a Authenticator setup.

I would send an SMS to my phone.

I cannot login and I don't have an admin to reset my MFA's as it's a personal account.

How/where can I get someone to reset my sign-in methods?

i might be wrong, but when a personal ms acct loses mfa paths like that, it usually means the backend wrote a stale token map u can’t clear from the ui. the acct‑recovery flow is the only thing that actually rewrites those maps…　I think..

The issue pertains to a tenant lockout, where no other global admin in the tenant has the necessary permissions to login and make changes in your tenant.
