When I log in an unknown email appears. I’m stuck in the verify‑identity loop.

When I log in, an unknown email address appears during verification. This puts me into a verify‑identity loop that I cannot escape—every link Microsoft provides sends me right back to the same identity‑verification screen, which again displays the unknown email.

I cannot verify my identity because I do not have access to that email. Please escalate this to the Manual Identity Verification / Account Recovery Specialist Team.

None of the Microsoft phone numbers lead to a real human, and several support links just redirect me to the same broken verification loop.

I need assistance. Thank you.

Hey there! Nice to meet you!

Based on your description, your Microsoft account was compromised. The hacker was able to remove the account's primary email address/security info and replace it with their own email address.

The only way to recover a hacked account is through the official Microsoft troubleshooter guide:

    https://support.microsoft.com/account-billing/how-to-recover-a-hacked-or-compromised-microsoft-account-24ca907d-bcdf-a44b-4656-47f0cd89c245

If the account recovery web form doesn't work, and since the security info has been replaced by the hacker, I'm afraid there is no other working method to recover the Microsoft account, and Microsoft Support cannot help either.

Lastly, Microsoft Support may not be able to assist with manual recovery or escalation as stated in this article, that they are not permitted to send password resets, access, or even change any details on the account:

    https://support.microsoft.com/account-billing/help-with-the-microsoft-account-recovery-form-b19c02d1-a782-dee6-93c3-dc8113b20c42

    Thank you for your understanding.

    Best regards,

    Darhyl

    Hello K AM

Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Q&A Forum. I understand that when you try to sign in, an unknown email address appears during identity verification, causing a verification loop that prevents you from accessing your Microsoft account.

Please kindly note that this is a public user‑to‑user forum, and I do not have the tools or authorization to unblock accounts, recover accounts, or bypass security measures. Only Microsoft’s official recovery process can restore access.

To proceed, please try using the Account Recovery Form (ACSR) via https://account.live.com/acsr

When completing the form, make sure to:

    • Use an email address you currently have access to as the contact email
    • Provide as many accurate details as possible, such as old passwords, frequent contacts/subject lines and submit from a familiar device/location.
    • Wait 24–72 hours for a response. You may refine and resubmit up to twice per day.
    • Please see this official guide to help you fill out the form more accurately: Help with the Microsoft account recovery form- Microsoft Support

    Contact Support Team directly

If you are unable to complete the Account Recovery Form or are experiencing issues with it, please reach out directly to the Microsoft Support team. It may offer live chat and, depending on your subscription/region, an option to request a callback:

    • Go to Contact - Microsoft Support
    • Type a brief description of your issue in the search box (e.g., I can't sign in)
    • Click "Get Help", then scroll to the bottom and select "Contact Support”.
    • When prompted to select Products & Services and Category, choose the appropriate categories.
    • Look for and select "Chat with a support agent in your web browser" (during business hours) or a similar callback option (if available). Explain your situation clearly. User's image

For more information, you may also refer to this official guide: How to recover a hacked or compromised Microsoft account - Microsoft Support

Thank you for your understanding. I hope you’re able to regain access soon. If you have any further questions, feel free to reach out.
