I purchased a Microsoft 365 12-month family plan from a retailer, but now I cannot redeem it because the product key is faded on the receipt. Can Microsoft trace this somehow if I give them the receipt information or the product code from the card I purchased? How can I resolve this issue? TIA

If the product key on your receipt is too faded to read, Microsoft typically does not have a way to trace or retrieve the product key based solely on the receipt information or the product code from the card. Here are some steps you can take to resolve this issue:

    1. Contact Retailer: Reach out to the retailer where you purchased the Microsoft 365 plan. They may have a record of your purchase and could potentially assist you in retrieving the product key.
    2. Microsoft Support: You can contact Microsoft Support directly. Provide them with as much information as possible about your purchase, including the receipt details and any product codes. They may be able to offer guidance or alternative solutions.
    3. Check Email: If you purchased the product online, check your email for a confirmation message that might include the product key.
    4. Look for Alternatives: If you cannot retrieve the key, consider purchasing a new subscription directly from Microsoft or a trusted retailer.

Unfortunately, without the product key, redeeming the subscription may not be possible.
