hi,

When I send an email "delay send" my email will show up on the left hand navigation saying I have an email stuck in outbox, but it will not show anything in my outbox.

    Hi @Ashley

Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.

To help narrow down the issue, could you check Outlook on the web and confirm whether your scheduled emails appear in the Outbox there, or if the behavior is the same?

Here are some steps you may try:

    1.Restart outlook

Open Task Manager > Process tab, scroll down to outlook.exe > Click End Process.

    2.Start Outlook in Safe Mode

    -Close Outlook completely.

    -Press Win + R, type: outlook.exe /safe  > Press Enter.

If Outlook opens normally in Safe Mode, the issue is likely caused by an add-in.

Go to File > Options > Add-ins > COM Add-ins > Go > Disable all add-ins, then re-enable them one by one to identify the problematic add-in.

Reference: Open Outlook in safe mode - Microsoft Support.

    3.Create a new Outlook profile:

Control Panel > Mail > Show Profiles > Add > create a new profile > add your account > set as default > restart Outlook.

Please know that while our initial response might not resolve the issue right away, your input is incredibly valuable. With a bit more detail, we’ll work together to find the best solution for you.

When you send an email with a "delay send" option in Outlook, it may not appear in the Outbox immediately due to a few reasons. One common cause is that the email is set for delayed delivery, which means it will not show up in the Outbox until the specified delivery time approaches.

If you're experiencing issues where the email is not visible in the Outbox but you see a notification indicating that there is an email stuck, it might be related to the following:

    1. Delayed Delivery Settings: Ensure that the delayed delivery settings are correctly configured. You can check this by opening the email and verifying that the "Do not deliver before" option is set to the intended date and time.
    2. Outlook Profile Issues: Sometimes, issues with your Outlook profile can cause emails to not display correctly. Consider closing and reopening Outlook or even restarting your computer to see if that resolves the issue.
    3. Connection Issues: If Outlook is not properly connected to the mail server, it may not display the emails as expected. Check your internet connection and ensure that Outlook is online.

If the problem persists, you may want to check for any updates or repairs needed for your Outlook application.
