I want to export my Planner to excel but the 'export to excel' is greyed out. I am working in the web browser, so it's not that. And I've tried using Edge and Chrome but same thing. Any ideas?

If you are the Owner, have you tested the behavior by creating a new Planner plan?

Have other users with access to this plan confirmed whether the Export to Excel option is available and working for them?
